Public Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, beginning at 5:35 p.m. (ET), at 34 Forbes Street, Apalachicola, Florida, the Franklin County Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment will conduct a workshop to receive public comments regarding a possible Planned Unit Development (Hereinafter “PUD”) enabling and evaluation ordinance to be used when reviewing applications for a PUD. A PUD is generally known as a land area zoned for a single community with flexible restrictions on residential, commercial and public uses. Those interested in the subject matter should attend the workshop and be heard. The workshop will be moderated by Franklin County’s consultant, The Planning Collaborative. No decisions or recommendations will be made at this workshop.
The public is invited to attend the workshop. Those persons who desire to speak may attend and shall be heard.
The meeting room is a public building and is handicap accessible. However, those persons needing special accommodations should call Ms. Jessica Gay at 850-653-8161, ext. 100, at least three business days prior to the workshop to make arrangements for their attendance.
The workshop is audio recorded. Those persons who desire a verbatim transcript of the workshop will need to make their own arrangements for attendance of a court reporter.
