  2. Cloudpermit is currently not compatible with a mobile device. Please use a tablet, laptop or PC.
  3. Please keep in mind that rectification takes time. You may not see results right away but please be aware that staff is working with the property owner(s) to rectify any complaints, concerns, and/or violations.

Important Tips

  • Complaints are processed in the order they are received.
  • Providing accurate and complete information is required to conduct a complaint investigation.
  • If additional complaint information is required, we may attempt to contact you if accurate contact information has been provided.
  • Use this form for complaints related to:
    • Food/Waste/Household garbage
    • Junk/Debris/Old Tires
    • Hazardous waste
    • Building without a permit
    • Land use violations
    • Living in an RV/Camper

How to use the map

  • Search for a property by typing an address into the search bar and select one of the returned results. You can also navigate around the map and manually click one of the properties.
  • Filter results on the map by using the available filter options. Click a property on the map to see additional details. Please note, you may or may not see some information due to visibility restrictions set by the approval authority.

How to create a complaint

  • Click on a property to place a pin for the location of the complaint.
  • Select Create complaint from the panel on the right side of the map.
    • In some instances, there may already be an open code enforcement case associated with the address inserted. 
      • You do not need to file another complaint/concern on a location that currently has an open case. 
  • Fill in the required information.
    • You can describe the exact location of the violation, if it is for example outside of the property borders or you want to help the Code enforcement officer to find the location more easily.
  • Select Submit to submit your complaint or Cancel to go back.

How to check the status of a complaint

  • Type in the address into the search bar and select one of the returned results
  • Select the case you would like to view
  • The results will show the case number, case description, and status
    • For more detailed information, you can email your request to concerns@franklincountyflorida.com and reference the case number in the subject line.
    • Please keep in mind that rectification takes time. You may not see results right away but please be aware that staff is working with the property owner(s) to rectify any complaints, concerns, and/or violations.

    If Franklin County receives a Public Records Request related to this complaint, Staff will be required to release any information submitted in this complaint pursuant to the Public Records Act and/or pursuant to court order.
