Workshop Goal: Continue the process of condensing the existing Airport Master Plan into a document that clearly lists initiatives, desired timeframe, expected costs, funding amounts and sources already in hand or identified for each initiative.
1. Review materials from AVCON:
a) Priority: T & box hangar buildings (drawing completion delayed by underground utility mapping)
b) JACIP information from AVCON detailing current and future funded projects
2. Grant assisted initiatives for AAF-discussion (see spreadsheet)
3. T-Hangar administration and waitlist management
a. Minimize potential conflicts of interest for available aircraft hangar space
b. Determine actual interest for aircraft storage in area. AAF hangars are less than 1 mile from the sea. Salt is highly corrosive to aircraft.
c. Build confidence of waitlisted pilots (non-refundable fee to improve record keeping and have a better handle on serious individuals)
