Our Young Eagles Rally is a free event sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1646 based at the Apalachicola Airport. The Rally provides children aged 8 to 17 with their first flying experiences in small, general aviation aircraft, aiming to inspire a love of aviation and promote future interest in the field. Rallies include a 15-20 minute flight, an introduction to airplane components and controls, and an opportunity to sit in the pilot’s seat. Flights are scheduled to begin at 9:15 AM and will finish by 1 PM at the Apalachicola Regional Airport on Saturday, May 9th. Contact Mr. Thomas Mescher at (262) 242-3929 for additional information.
